The aims and objects, as filed in 2021
Transcribed from the handwritten memorandum, in the order they appear.

- To conduct animal birth control and anti-rabies programmes for street dogs and cats.
- To conduct training programmes in animal wellbeing and welfare.
- To conduct capacity-building programmes among animal welfare NGOs, volunteers, veterinary professionals and advocacy groups.

- The association would not engage in agitational activities to ventilate grievances.

What we do not have
Most organisations only publish their credentials. Publishing the gaps matters more, because it is the gaps that people get misled about.
No 80G approval
We cannot offer donors a tax deduction. Registration under the Societies Act gives legal existence, not tax benefit — those are two entirely different things, and organisations routinely blur them. If we obtain approval under Section 80G (now Section 354 of the Income Tax Act, 2025), the certificate will appear on this page.
No FCRA registration
We are not registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act and therefore cannot lawfully accept donations from foreign sources. Please do not send money from outside India.
No AWBI project recognition yet
Under the ABC Rules, 2023, running an Animal Birth Control programme requires recognition as an Animal Welfare Organisation by the Animal Welfare Board of India and a separate Certificate of Project Recognition. We hold neither at present. Our sterilisation work is therefore done by identifying and bringing in animals, funding surgeries through veterinary partners, and handling post-operative care and return — not by operating an ABC centre of our own. Obtaining recognition is one of our priorities.
No audited public accounts, yet
We are a small society run by unpaid volunteers, and our record-keeping has been the video record rather than a formal published account. We are working towards publishing an annual statement of income and expenditure here. In the meantime, ask us anything and we will answer it directly.
Why say all this?
Because animal welfare in India is full of well-meaning organisations that overstate their credentials, and a small number that are outright frauds — and both make it harder for honest ones to be believed. We would rather you trust us for the right reasons.

Ask us anything
If you want to know what a donation was spent on, whether a particular dog is still alive, or to see the shelter for yourself — write, call, or come. We are in Khammam and we are not difficult to find.
